The mother got more to do (including surgery) but it's hard not to feel like she's being relegated to the back of the bus. Between that and the daughter having to learn a 'life lesson' about being-who-you-are (powers -- the show insists -- are okay for men to use but wrong for women to use).
More troubling to me right now is "Will."
The mom is Stephanie. At her lab, Katie's her assistant. Stephanie's son Jim Junior has a crush on Katie but is too young for her (he's still in high school).
Katie just met Will two weeks ago and is dating him now.
Will is actually evil. He's working as a spy for Stephanie's evil boss.
That doesn't bother me, what's above. I like Katie and am glad when they feature her more.
What bothers me is that Will isn't really Will.
Because the guy's posing?
But has everyone forgotten how Will was created?
Jim Junior had the crush on Katie and she was upset because she was stood up and her dating life wasn't going well. So to cheer her up, Jim Junior created an online person: Will.
And with Stephanie encouraging her, Katie soon told "Will" that they needed to meet face to face.
Stephanie was there waiting that night. Jim Junior stared at her for a bit and then rode off on his bike.
That's when fake Will was arriving at the table.
So does this crook know that Jim Junior created Will?
It's just not making any sense right now and Katie's supposed to be tutoring Jim Junior. At some point, isn't she going to mention how great things are going with Will to him?
Going out with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
