The Good Wife
Last night on CBS, "The Good Wife" aired.
It wrapped up an airline case but didn't have a lot of key moments.
Will's ex-girlfriend that gets on my nerves was working with the firm on this case. She told Alicia she didn't like her. Such a charmer, that one.
Donna Brazile was on. Big news there was that she should shave her mustache before going in front of the cameras. I couldn't believe her mustache. I've seen her so many times and never noticed it before. She was on meeting with Alan Cummings (Eli on the show) who was pushing Peter for a candidate for the governor. Donna (playing herself) said people were talking about how Alicia and Peter didn't live together. Eli said he could promise that they would be living together if Peter ran.
The bald guy I usually ignore wanted his niece hired and attacked Alicia -- in front of Will's ex- girlfriend -- when she didn't pick the niece. He went over Alicia's head and got the niece hired.
Eli had Kalinda doing research on Dem candidates. I think he was trying to clear the field for Peter's run. He lied and said that it was about finding someone scandal free to speak at the DNC convention next year. He told that to Kalinda only after she found out that the male candidate she was investigating had a wife opposed to marriage equality.
So when Kalinda found out, she told him it wasn't firm business and he'd have to find someone else to do the investigations.
Carey showed more duplicity. That's probably all of it. I want more Alicia in the episodes than they're providing us with. The cast is getting too large. (I think Kalinda had two scenes and that was it.)
Going out with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
