I really like that comic. Isaiah clearly puts a lot of work into this stuff, doing the comics for TCI and for all the newsletters.
All I did was read my e-mails.
That's because I had to run by the library.
Have I talked about my library in a while?
Like most of you, I bet, my public library has changed its hours -- reduced them. And it is so much of a hassle now. Used to, I'd go to the library after work. Get there about 5:30 pm. Stay until 9 to grab my favorite bus home. Stay until ten if I was caught up in something.
Now the library has such sucky hours. Tonight, for example, it closed at six pm.
And that's my big complaint here.
If you remember my past library posts -- last one was probably over a year ago -- there's a man who works there who is over 65 and we'll just leave it at that. (Longtime readers will know why.) So he sees me and makes a bee line. What was that club he went to three years ago?
Like I remember.
But he won't leave.
And I get to the library around 5:30 so I really only have 30 minutes.
Not only will he not stop talking but I even told him I had work to do. (I was researching something for work.)
And when he finally left -- the third time I asked him to -- he stormed off.
Going out with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
