Body of Proof
"Body of Proof" is back on ABC's Tuesday nights. I didn't realize that until Andy e-mailed to ask if I caught this week's episode? I hadn't. So I went to ABC.com and streamed it.
This was a really strong episode.
Two young women were in a car crash. That killed them.
And the two women? They were mixed up. For half the episode, one family was grieving and another family was with a badly injured, comatose girl they thought was their daughter. Then it turned out the women had been switched. So the families were upset.
It took Kate to smooth things over.
Afterward, the woman who demoted Kate shows up to tell Curtis that Megan needs to be the fall guy. Curtis points out that the mis-identification took place before the coroner's office got involved and he refuses to let Megan be the scapegoat.
So Curtis is demoted and Kate is back as the head of the office.
Peter and his date are having problems. She wants to move in, he thinks they're moving too fast.
Megan deals with finding the criminal and realizes the killer is the jealous student. She confronts the student who has a syringe filled with acid. She attacks Megan. Sam and Bud arrive just in time.
Meanwhile, Megan's mom is watching Lacey and finds Lacey on the floor of her bedroom. It turns out Lacy has diabetes.
So there was a ton of stuff going on in the episode.
Going out with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
