Is Matthew Perry joining the cast of "The Good Wife"? I keep tuning in expecting to recoil from his awful acting but have thus far been spared.
On the most recent episode (last night on CBS), Lillith from "Fraiser" and "Cheers" was a judge.
So the sleazy client who brings in a ton of money was the focus of the show. His murder case is a thing of the past. (He leveraged information in another case to get out of prison.) So they were helping him try to regain control of the board of his company but he lost the vote when a woman stood up, asked him if he remembered her (he said he didn't -- he lied) and announced he had sexually harassed her and that they had a child together.
It was a lot of twists and turns.
She was paid by his rival. To say that?
To, back in 2008, while she was giving him blow jobs, reserve the sperm and use it later to impregnate herself (with a turkey baster). They reached an understanding (marriage?) and are going to raise the kid together. In exchange, she told what happened and allowed him to take back his company (his rival would be kicked out of the running if it could be proven that he was attempting to discredit the man).
At the DA's, Peter's chances at running for governor are compromised by a blog report of two employees having sex on his office couch. He calls all the heads in and asks them to find out what happened -- if anything. Cary finds out that a supervisor had sex with someone under him on the couch. He tells Peter. Peter says they'll have to fire them both. Cary says this could backfire since both are gay. Peter says it's not about them being gay, it's about having sex in the office.
Cary's taunted by others in the office who know about his own affair. He goes to Peter and confesses. Peter tries to dismiss it but Carey says people know and says he and Peter will lose the respect of everyone if he gets away with this.
Also we may have seen the end of the annoying blond Caitlen. She says she's pregnant and getting married and doesn't want to practice law anymore.
Going out with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
