Update: We briefly discussed the appearance of Mitt Romney, boos included, at the NAACP below. It was an example of the Romney campaign doing smart things and our attempt to encourage Republicans/conservatives to become more I/E instead of neanderthal E/I.
Tonight we have another example of some Romney smarts. According to Drudge: Condi Rice near the top of Romney’s VP shortlist?
We doubt Rice will be the VP choice by Romney. But Mitt Romney’s campaign must be admired for stepping on the “Romney is racist because he didn’t pander to the NAACP and how dare he go there and give the same speech he gives to every group telling them what he will do as president.” (By the way, where’s Barack? Is he raising money in the ‘hood?)
By leaking the Condi Rice as potential VP story Romney sure stuck a shiv in the NAACP race-baiters. Smart move Mitt. Now give a call to Harry and Louise.
We frayed our favorite lace gloves applauding The Greatest Republican Ad Evahhhh. You recall that ad don’t you. It featured Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton is again featured in a brand new Romney ad which correctly calls out Barack Obama as the liar he is:
Okay, Yahoo's "Burning Love."
Monday's the last new episode and it's a reunion special.
It came down to Annie (teacher) or Carly (coach -- and a lesbian). Who would Mark choose?
Carly was shown guzzling Pepto Bismol and getting sick at the thought that he would choose her.
Annie went to the 'boom boom room' with Mark because she wanted him to choose her.
And in the end, he chose neither.
Ballerina (Jeff on "Community") was the winner. Ballerina was brought back.
That was a surprise.
I would give the series a 97 on a 100 scale with 100 being the perfect score.
I really think this gave Yahoo something to be proud of.
And I liked how there were so many twists and turns. I honestly thought, before Ballerina walked out, that Mark was going to tell the host he was in love with him.
Seriously, that's what I thought when Mark sent both women packing and told the host that there was someone he loved.
I hope Jennifer Aniston is on the reunion. And the woman who played Agnes. She was funny. Hayley will have to be there (the one without pants).
But this could have been so annoying and instead it was a really funny show that never lost the humor. Ken Marino did a great job acting the part of Mark but he also did a great job overseeing this show.
(Why not a 100? Because my favorite did not win Mark's hose!!!!)
Going out with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
