I'm just not sure at present. But I also have watched way too many movies. C.I.'s got every film on DVD practically. Her collection is like my idea of a Netflix storage space. :D
So I've watched a lot of things that I wouldn't normally have the chance to including a Greta Garbo film that I'm toying with covering tomorrow.
Okay, AP reports that the Mayor of Trenton New Jersey, Tony Mack, had his offices raided by the FBI and they explain that he's had "a disastrous record of filling top jobs at City Hall" and you might wonder: Disastrous? That seems like a good question.
But you quickly learn AP has its reason for terming it that:
In his first year, one of a string of business administrators resigned just ahead of pleading guilty to embezzlement on another job. His housing director quit after it was learned he had a theft conviction. His chief of staff was arrested trying to buy heroin.
Wow. They weren't kidding, were they?
One embezzled, the other was convicted of theft and a third got busted on a heroin buy.
How bad is Tony Mack at hiring?
Or are they trying to hint that he hired these people as favors or something?
I have no idea. But I have to agree with AP, that hiring record is disastrous.
Going out with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
