Check out the Obama apologist Big Media outlets. They are in full rabid attack mode against Mitt Romney and in support of Barack Obama. There’s a reason for this.
Regular readers know we started writing about Big Media as adjuncts of the Obama campaign back in 2007. The JournoList scandal proved our observations to be accurate. But since September 11, 2012 Big Media has gone whole hog in attacking Mitt Romney and protecting Barack Obama.
At Arriana’s Huff n’ Puff website some anti-Romney screeds are getting close to 40,000 comments. The DailyKooks are full out KooKoo in vitriol against Romney and hosannas for Obama.
Why are the DailyKook type websites and Big Media in a tornado frenzy? Hint: it’s not because they are in a position of strength.
Fear is driving the rabid attacks. Fear. Fear of the unknown and an even more profound fear which lies at the heart of every Obama Hopium Guzzling Dimocrat. That fear is not nameless. That fear has a name.
The name of that fear is “Jimmy Carter”.
The Barack Obama campaign has run on the model of 2004. In that year an unpopular incumbent ran a base election and squeaked through to a victory.
The Mitt Romney campaign sees 1980 as their model year. In that year a Republican challenger to an incumbent president trailed or was close to the president for many months until at the very last moment, at a debate, the challenger proved his worthiness and broke the race wide open to a comfortable victory.
If you look at these two models after the events of September 11, 2012, the 1980 model appears to be the one most congruent with the current political situation. That is what scares the Obama Hopium Guzzling Big Media and other Obama acolytes. That is why the response to Mitt Romney’s mild critique of Barack Obama has been so brutal.
Accordingly, Big Media wants to be sure not only that the 1980/1979 election model be rejected from the hive mind but that potential apostate members of Big Media know what the collective position is and not to deviate. One deviant has already been detected via video: NBC chief foreign correspondent blasts Obama’s “Egypt not an ally” statement:
The refusal of the media to report or act fair and balanced is really on display this week, isn't it?
I can't believe this garbage. And I'm tired of it. I don't want a Democratic media, I want a real media. The same media that's lying for the Democratic Party today will lie for the Republicans tomorrow. The reality is that they loved Bush and worshipped him. The reality is that they love Barack and worship him.
And so they slant the coverage.
I'm tired of it. I'm sick of it. The media needs to do their damn job.
CBS should fire Jan Crawford for her little stunt. She's recorded planning how to embarrass Mitt Romney at yesterday's press conference. I will never believe a word she says. She's a whore as far as I'm concerned. I don't mistake media whores for reporters.
Jan Crawford cannot justify or spin her actions to my satisfaction.
It's another case of CBS News slanting their coverage. C.I. wrote a great piece this morning titled "Was Mitt wrong? Who knows?" and in it she offers her opinion that CBS is not biased. I appreciate her opinion. I disagree with it. Which she's fine with (and noted people could disagree with her take -- noted that in "Was Mitt wrong? Who knows?" itself.).
I just can't get beyond the fact that Jan Crawford's comments are on tape. And among the people she's plotting with are NPR's Ari Shapiro. NPR should reassign him immediately.
We now know that they're not covering the news. They're planning it, they're creating it.
That's not what they're supposed to be doing.
I have no faith in our pathetic media and I am so enraged that people on my side think this is cool. It's not. And when this same garbage happens against the Democratic Party in a few years, don't come whining to me because I won't want to hear it. I believe in fairness.
The media clearly does not.
Going out with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
