Above is Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts "Sunset Jackson" from Sunday which is just brilliant. He is ready for his perp walk.
Stupid is Clarence Page.
The Chicago Times columnist didn't seem stupid and loony in the pre-Barack days. He seemed like a reasoned voice against Bush and war and imperialism and so much more.
And I really enjoyed reading him.
Did he change or was it me?
I'm still speaking out about war and imperialism and talking about the need to follow the Constitution and to close Guantanamo and Clarence?
He exists to make excuses for Barack.
And to offer fluff that's so embarrassing. His column today would be embarrassing if a first grader wrote it.
You'd sit there and explain to the first grader, "During the Civil War, some states really wanted to leave the union, they were ready to die to leave. What's going on today is a bunch of nonsense internet petitions that, if you look at the signatures, don't have many signatures and have a lot of fake and joke signatures."
This Clarence wants to be a stylist (he doesn't make it) to justify his lack of substance.
I miss the old Clarence who stood for something.
Going out with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
