MEK is the worst of the worst. And that's putting it lightly.
MEK's Marxist tactics such as setting themselves on fire for their dear leader reminds me of North Korea.
Aside form American killings in the 79 revolution they have Kurdish blood on their hands too, being involved in Kurdish killings and suppression siding once with Saddam Hussein
Anyone who claims these people have anything to do with democracy needs to have his head examined. The likes of Rudy Giuliani and Alan Dershowitz are what is wrong with America today.
I don't know who the idiot thinks Camp Ashraf is being sold as a democracy.
I don't know anyone who does.
Camp Ashraf residents have to be protected because of international law. The US entered into a relationship with them, gave them protected person status. You can't walk away from that.
There's a legal obligation.
C.I. has never made an argument that they are saints or sinners, the people in Camp Ashraf. Her point -- and it's a smart point -- is that the law is the law. You follow it or you don't.
But Josh Rogin doesn't know the law, doesn't care about it, and doesn't even care about the standards of journalism.
He thinks he can get away with one-sided and distorted 'reporting' because of the topic.
I really think these assholes who use their posts to work out personal grudges need to be kicked to the curb.
