Well, hey, tell it to O.J.
Performance always excuses character? Or how about to Bill Tilden? Or how about their victims? (O.J.'s should be known. Bill Tilden was a famous tennis player who couldn't keep his hands off little boys.)
Bissinger wants everyone to join him in forgetting -- forget forgiveness, it's apparently not necessary -- Michael Vick for his animal abuse.
He's done nothing to make up for it.
He served his sentence!
Uh, yeah, (though he still has five years to go), but that's what happens when you're found guilty. He's done nothing that he wasn't required to do.
I really don't care for people who beat up animals. Sorry. If a kid does it, I'm more forgiving. I'll wonder if he's acting out something that was done to him (or her). I'll also allow that they're kids and can do something stupid. But by the time you're 18, you're smart enough to know and then some that it's not right to beat up on animals. He's an animal abuser. I wouldn't trust him around animals or children.
