Hillary Clinton was smeared as a “racist” by the Barack Obama campaign. Bill Clinton was smeared as a “racist” by the Barack Obama campaign. Yet somehow there are Republicans/conservatives who live in a fantasy world in which they believe their favored candidate for president will escape without being called a “racist”. This is just plain stupid.
It’s their party so it is up to Republicans to decide their own fate. But those Republicans/conservatives who choose to trash Donald Trump in order to remove The Donald as an obstacle to their favored candidate should remember the words of Benjamin Franklin “We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.”
We have repeatedly warned Republicans/conservatives about what is to come and what must be done. Our first article warning Republicans/conservatives was published in May of 2009 “The Republican Secret Weapon – Hillary Clinton.” Our advice holds true today:
“In that article we advised that every time the “racist” card was played the response should be “you called Hillary Clinton a racist too and nobody believes you. Every attack from Obama thugs should be parried with “you said/did that against Hillary too and we you were wrong then and you are wrong now”. We cited conservative Andrea Tantaros who smartly responded to attacks by Obama thugs by playing the Hillary Clinton card.”
Now the “race card”, as we suggested in “The Trump Card” is being played from the top of the dirty deck against Donald Trump. Not surprisingly the “race card” is dealt by JournoListers Ben Smith and Maggie Haberman at Politico.
"Movieline" dips into the vault to pull out their 1999 interview with Kevin Williamson then riding high as the screenwriter of Scream and the force behind Dawson's Creek:
“Come and go” Joshua Jackson and James Van Der Beek did! Fringe and (this makes two references in one article) Ke$ha videos thankfully reignited both careers. Of course, the one Creeker Williamson failed to single out in the piece, Michelle Williams, has two Oscar nominations, and seems well on her way to more peer-based plaudits. As for Katie Holmes? There wasn’t as Oscar in her future so much as… the open arms of ReelzChannel. As they point out, he had wonderful things to say about everyone but Michelle Williams, the only actress in the bunch. (Well Neve can act. But Sarah Michelle Geller can't.)
You know who always knew Michelle could act? Ava and C.I. One of the first pieces I read by them was noting flavor's of the month who couldn't act and including Katie Holmes and James Van Der Beek when it stopped to point out Michelle Williams is the real deal. "TV Review: Body Washing the Stump: One Tree Hill" in 2005. I had liked Jenn (Williams' "Dawson's Creek" character) but not really thought of her as any different than her co-stars. But reading that (and other pieces, they've applauded Michelle a lot), I really did start to reappreciate what she had done. And you know, she actually was the age she was playing. Katie, James and Joshua were all older. (Kerr Smith was a lot older!) But Michelle actually was the age of her character.
It's weird the way someone turns out a major talent. I couldn't pick it in real time. I don't have that eye. But I can appreciate in retrospect.
Going out with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
