The Best Democracy Money Can Buy
We're pulling a book at random tonight and blogging about it. I pulled a 2003 book, Greg Palast's "The Best Democracy Money Can Buy." This is a book I still love.
I love it for the look which is pictures and documents and text in various fonts. It's not an eye sore, it engages. And, of course, this is the book that told the truth about Florida in 2000 and about the efforts to destroy Cynthia McKinney.
I wish he'd write a book taking on Barack the way he did Bush.
I'd be thrilled to read that. I doubt I'm the only one.
And he could write about how Florida got screwed again in 2008 (primary) and about how the candidate with the less votes ended up getting the nomination.
It would be quite a book to say the least.
Going out with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
