There was also a new release today from boy band New Direction called “Kiss You” which is the gayest thing we’ve heard since well, since Elvis released a certain song which lyrics few fully examined. In “Kiss You” New Direction borrows heavily from the Elvis song and movie “Jailhouse Rock”.
Now back to the days when Bowie was playing with Tin Machine and Bill Clinton was teaching Republicans a lesson they did not understand then and still don’t grasp. It’s about timing.
I actually like the song. C.I. linked to a video of it yesterday in the snapshot. It's a catchy song. I'm not a One Direction fan. There song "We Are Young" gets on my nerves big time. But I do like this song. Okay, "The Good Wife" airs Sunday nights on CBS. What did I think, asked Joan in an e-mail? Joan, thank you for e-mailing, I didn't realize the show was back on. So I went to CBS after I read Joan's e-mail and streamed. It's been forever since the show was on (three weeks? four?). My complaint? Kalinda goes to visit Alicia who's stuck in a remote area doing a deposition and Kalinda notes she misses the easy way they used to be with each other. Alicia kind of nods. And that's that. Honestly, does Kalinda have to crawl through glass? She slept with Peter. Years ago. Before she knew Alicia. (Peter was Alicia's husband. Actually they are just separated right now so he's still her husband.) Considering he slept with a prostitute and probably others, it sure is a shame Alicia wants to make Kalinda suffer for all the women. Other than that, I enjoyed the show. Not real thrilled with Michael J. Fox buying the law firm's debt (and presumably being on a lot more). I really think his character peaked already. He's always pitted against Alicia as an opposing attorney, if you've never seen the show. So they had to try to win the case that Alicia was working on in the remote area while Will and Carey worked on it in Chicago. Why? Grant had called for a hearing. Diane and Will found out after the fact. So they had a mini-trial where they refuted Grant's charges that they weren't being cooperative and that they were wrong to spurn the partnership offer he found for them. They actually won. But Grant is a big time enemy now and they won't be able to use Carey on him because Carey got exposed as someone who will protect the firm and burn Grant (as he did when he gave his testimony that made Grant look like an idiot). Peter was not on. Eli was. And that woman I hate. She worked for Peter last season or the one before. She's a real pain in the ass. Now she's working for the FBI. We found out when Diane prepared a cease-and-desist order for the FBI regarding their targeting of Eli. Diane then tried to scare her off (the woman has three names, Carr is the last -- Wendy Scott Carr?). That only made her show up at the law firm and seize the records. So Eli may not be able to lead on Peter's campaign. New character played by TR Knight ("Grey's Anatomy") is going to 'help' Eli but Eli thinks he's going to try to take over. It was an interesting episode. My only complaint was the way they won't just let Kalinda and Alicia go back to being friends already.
Going out with C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
